Official Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.

 

1. Sponsor

The KDWG $500 Job Seeker Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) is sponsored and administered by KD Workforce Group LLC, 1402 Private Road 6385, West Plains, Missouri 65775 (“Sponsor,” “KDWG,” “we,” or “us”).

2. Eligibility

The Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the fifty United States and the District of Columbia who are at least eighteen years of age at the time of entry.

The Sweepstakes is intended for individuals seeking or interested in skilled-trades employment opportunities.

Employees, officers, owners, representatives, and individuals directly involved in the administration of the Sweepstakes, together with members of their immediate families or households, are not eligible to enter.

The Sweepstakes is void where prohibited or restricted by applicable law.

3. Sweepstakes Period

The Sweepstakes begins at 12:00 p.m. Central Time on August 19, 2026 (“Start Time”).

The Sweepstakes does not have a predetermined calendar closing date.

Instead, the Sweepstakes will end when KDWG first reaches 100 Active Paid Employer Partners, as defined below (“Milestone”).

For purposes of these Official Rules, an Active Paid Employer Partner means a unique employer/company account that:

• has an active paid KDWG employer subscription;

• has successfully completed payment for that subscription; and

• is active and in good standing at the time the Milestone is reached.

Free accounts, free plans, complimentary memberships, promotional accounts, test accounts, internal KDWG accounts, unpaid trials, canceled subscriptions, refunded subscriptions, chargebacks, and inactive accounts do not count toward the Milestone.

Each employer/company will count only once toward the Milestone, regardless of the number of users, seats, subscriptions, or employees associated with that company.

The Milestone will be deemed reached at the first time KDWG's production subscription and billing records show 100 Active Paid Employer Partners simultaneously.

Once the Milestone has been reached, it will remain satisfied for purposes of this Sweepstakes even if the number of Active Paid Employer Partners later falls below 100.

KDWG will announce on the Sweepstakes page that the Milestone has been reached.

Entries must be received before the Milestone is reached to be eligible.

The Sponsor's ordinary-course business records will be used to determine the time at which the Milestone was reached.

4. No Purchase Necessary

No purchase, payment, paid membership, employer subscription, job application, referral, donation, or other financial transaction is required to enter or win the Sweepstakes.

Purchasing or paying for any KDWG product or service will not improve an entrant's chances of winning.

Job Seeker accounts on KDWG are free.

5. How to Enter

During the Sweepstakes Period, an eligible individual may receive one entry by creating a free KDWG Job Seeker Account and completing the designated Sweepstakes entry process.

Individuals who already have a free KDWG Job Seeker Account when the Sweepstakes begins may also enter through the designated Sweepstakes entry process.

Entrants will not be required to purchase anything, apply for a job, purchase an employer membership, refer another person, or subscribe to paid services in order to enter.

Completion of unrelated marketing consent is not required to enter.

An entrant must provide accurate information sufficient for KDWG to verify eligibility and contact the entrant if selected as the potential winner.

6. Entry Limit

Limit one entry per person during the entire Sweepstakes Period.

Creating multiple accounts, using multiple email addresses or identities, automated entry methods, bots, scripts, fraudulent information, or other attempts to obtain additional entries may result in disqualification.

If multiple entries are received from the same individual, only one eligible entry may be included in the drawing.

7. Prize

One eligible winner will receive:

One $500 USD cash prize.

Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): $500.00 USD.

The prize may be delivered by check, electronic payment, or another reasonable payment method agreed upon by the Sponsor and verified winner.

No entry fee, processing fee, shipping fee, deposit, purchase, or payment to KDWG will ever be required to claim the prize.

The prize may not be transferred or assigned before it is awarded, except as permitted by applicable law.

8. Winner Selection

After the Sweepstakes closes, KDWG will create a final list of all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period.

One potential winner will be selected through a random drawing from all eligible entries.

The random drawing will occur within five business days after KDWG reaches 100 Active Paid Employer Partners.

All eligible entries will have an equal opportunity to be selected.

9. Odds of Winning

The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period.

No purchase, payment, employer subscription, or other financial transaction will increase an entrant's odds of winning.

​

10. Winner Notification

The potential winner will be contacted using the email address or other contact information supplied with the entry.

The potential winner must respond within five business days after the initial notification.

KDWG may require reasonable verification of:

• identity;

• age;

• United States residency;

• eligibility under these Official Rules; and

• ownership or control of the account or contact information associated with the selected entry.

If the potential winner cannot be contacted, fails to respond within the required period, refuses the prize, provides false information, or is determined to be ineligible, the potential winner may be disqualified.

KDWG may then conduct another random drawing from the remaining eligible entries to select an alternate potential winner.

11. Prize Payment

After the potential winner has been verified as eligible, KDWG will make reasonable efforts to deliver the $500 prize within 30 days.

The winner will never be required to pay KDWG money in order to receive the prize.

If the winner refuses or is legally unable to accept the prize, KDWG may select an alternate winner in accordance with these Official Rules.

12. Taxes

The winner is solely responsible for any federal, state, or local taxes that may apply to the prize.

KDWG may request information reasonably necessary to comply with applicable tax-reporting obligations and may issue any tax documentation required by applicable law.

Entrants should consult their own tax professional regarding their individual tax obligations.

​

13. Privacy

Information submitted in connection with the Sweepstakes may be used by KDWG for purposes including:

administering the Sweepstakes, maintaining entry records, verifying eligibility, preventing fraud, selecting and contacting the winner, delivering the prize, maintaining required records, and complying with applicable law.

Personal information will otherwise be handled in accordance with the KDWG Privacy Policy.

Entering the Sweepstakes does not, by itself, constitute consent to receive unrelated marketing communications where separate consent is required by law.

14. Fair Administration

KDWG will administer the Sweepstakes in a fair and good-faith manner.

KDWG will not arbitrarily reject or disqualify otherwise valid entries and will award the advertised prize to an eligible winner in accordance with these Official Rules.

Florida law, for example, prohibits arbitrary rejection of entries, failure to award advertised prizes, false or misleading promotion materials, and requiring payment as a condition of entry.

15. Fraud and Disqualification

KDWG may disqualify an entrant when reasonably supported by evidence that the entrant:

provided false or fraudulent information; attempted to enter more than once; used automated entry methods; impersonated another individual; attempted to manipulate the drawing or entry process; interfered with the operation or security of KDWG; or otherwise materially violated these Official Rules.

Any disqualification will be made in good faith and subject to applicable law.

16. Technical Problems and Integrity of the Sweepstakes

KDWG is not responsible for circumstances outside its reasonable control, including internet outages, hosting failures, communications failures, corrupted submissions, unauthorized interference, cyberattacks, or other technical problems that prevent an entry from being transmitted or received as intended.

If fraud, technical failure, security incidents, natural disaster, governmental action, or other circumstances outside KDWG's reasonable control materially impair the fairness or integrity of the Sweepstakes, KDWG may take reasonable corrective action permitted by applicable law.

Any action taken under this section will be intended to preserve, rather than undermine, the fairness of the Sweepstakes.

17. Employer Milestone

The requirement that KDWG reach 100 Active Paid Employer Partners is solely the event that determines when the entry period closes.

Employer payments do not constitute Sweepstakes entries.

Employer subscriptions do not increase any job seeker's chances of winning.

Employers do not receive additional entries or preferential treatment because they purchase a KDWG subscription.

KDWG will not require job seekers to encourage, solicit, or obtain employer subscriptions in order to enter or remain eligible.

18. Milestone Verification

The determination of whether KDWG has reached 100 Active Paid Employer Partners will be based on KDWG's production billing and subscription records maintained in the ordinary course of business.

KDWG will not count fake, test, complimentary, unpaid, refunded, canceled, or otherwise nonqualifying accounts for purposes of reaching the Milestone.

KDWG will maintain records reasonably sufficient to document when the Milestone was reached and when the Sweepstakes entry period ended.

19. Release and Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Sponsor will not be responsible for losses or damages resulting solely from circumstances outside Sponsor's reasonable control in connection with participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance of the prize.

Nothing in these Official Rules is intended to waive, restrict, or eliminate any right, remedy, warranty, duty, or liability that cannot lawfully be waived or limited.

20. Publicity and Winner Information

KDWG may publicly identify the winner using limited information such as the winner's first name, last initial, and state of residence where permitted by law.

Any use of the winner's photograph, full name, testimonial, likeness, voice, or other promotional materials beyond what is reasonably necessary to administer or document the Sweepstakes will require any consent required by applicable law.

21. Governing Law

These Official Rules and the Sweepstakes will be governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without limiting any consumer-protection or other rights that applicable law does not permit an entrant to waive.

Any dispute will remain subject to any applicable federal, state, and local laws governing the entrant or the Sweepstakes.

After the Sweepstakes has concluded and a winner has been verified, information concerning the winner may be requested by contacting:

Any information provided will be subject to applicable privacy and disclosure laws.

23. Social Media Disclaimer

This Sweepstakes is sponsored and administered solely by KDWG.

The Sweepstakes is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, or any other social-media platform on which the Sweepstakes may be advertised or discussed.

Entrants understand that information submitted to KDWG in connection with the Sweepstakes is being provided to KDWG and not to those social-media platforms.

24. Acceptance of Official Rules

By submitting an entry, an entrant acknowledges that the entrant has read, understands, and agrees to comply with these Official Rules.

If any provision of these Official Rules is determined to be unenforceable under applicable law, the remaining provisions will remain effective to the extent legally permitted.

25. Official Rules Availability

These Official Rules will remain publicly available throughout the Sweepstakes Period.
